My first Grisham since “The Innocent Man”, I couldn’t put it down. John Grisham has returned to the style that made him champion of the court room drama.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
I kept up with John Grisham punctually after being totally absorbed by “The Firm”. From “A Time to Kill” to “The Bretheren”, I followed the traditional legal thrillers loyally, but after “Painted House”, it seemed that the author was moving away from his regular genre.
“The Rackateer” is the first Grisham I’ve read in quite some time and I’m glad he has returned to his forte.
It’s good to have him back!
