So far this year, my book list has included some of the most enjoyable reading I’ve experienced in years. Earlier this year, I delved into Eric Metaxas biography of the great theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, after becoming intrigued due to recent discussions about him and his works.

Not only is this work one of the best I’ve read this year (which has been filled with many great books), it could very well be one of the best I’ve ever read.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This biography gripped me from start to finish – I couldn’t put it down. Dietrich Bonhoeffer is as important to Christianity as the disciples of biblical times as far as I’m concerned. This is another of recent reads that falls into my ‘best ever’ category. Highly Recommend!
