This one was loaned to me by my Father. Upon receiving this short publication, I was reminded of another author I;ve recently read, Harold S. Kushner, author of “When Bad Things Happen to Good People”. As it turns out, Kushner, a prominent American Rabbi, provides the introduction to this work.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Being deemed one of “the ten most influential books in the United States”, this chronicle of the experiences of the author during the holocaust deserves to be read. “Man’s Search for Meaning” explores the deepest question of all of us – what is the meaning of life?
Frankl’s analysis of other prisoners during his years of confinement, resulted in his theories of logotherapy and other strategies for coping with life.
Though my own personal travesties in life have seemed hopeless at times, engaging in this work really helps “put things in perspective.”
